I bought the tickets for this movie already! The plan is to go on Thursday night at 12:01am for the first showing. I am (almost) more excited then the boys. Still haven't started reading the 3rd book yet...

Woke up this morning feeling AWFUL...total migraine day...but so much to do and so many people counting on me. Sent out a quick tweet asking for prayers and got out of bed...
The prayers were so appreciated and WORKED. Headache left after about an hour.
Spent the day cooking like crazy!
I ended up with enough food to serve 60 people! And I am not kidding....There was enough leftovers to serve another whole meal!!
The food....great....The gratitude....beyond words.
It is a tradition at this "Thanksgiving Meal" to go around the room and say what each person is thankful for. It is always an incredible moment...and I am always left crying and without words to say. I am always the 'last' to talk. That one moment means more me than any other day.
Now I am tired...busy, incredible, emotional day. The kind that make your realize why to get up each morning.

My two children (who are now 10 and 11) simply CANNOT wait to be 13!! They both think 13 is when the magic starts :-) (and I just wish time would not rush by so fast).
For Silly Girl, the allure of 13 is all about 'legally' being allowed to wear some (key word here) make-up. Promised for her 13th birthday, we will have a Mary Kay party for her and a friend and they can learn good face care and applying make-up (light colors!). But in the meantime, she sometimes sneaks into my 'stash' (even though she has a little bit of her own). I barely wear make-up (maybe 10 times a year at most)...but do have all of the basics. Today was one of those days that she broke into my stash (and spilled the mineral powder stuff everywhere--UGHH!!)
For Moon Boy, he simply cannot wait to play World of Warcraft (his dad's game of choice). We got him a game called Fate for his birthday (which kind of looked like it had some of the same kind of characters) and he informed us that it was "fun but just not the same." And wonders often if we will just forget that age 13 requirement...
Oh to be 13...

So totally gave up on my 4-week challenge after like 4-days....SO have decided to START OVER. The goal--for 4-weeks do 5-days of 30-minute exercise (any kind)!
I have a lot of options...love the walk/running in the outdoors (even though it is getting cold--I have a cool beanie and some great UnderArmor stuff); or we have an indoor track (boring going in circles); or we have an elliptical machine (that thing is a lot harder than it looks although suppose to be better for your joints); or an indoor swimming pool; or Jillian Michael DVD; or just general 'make-my-own' exercise.
SO am recommitting to actually taken the time (the real issue) to complete:

I work for this amazing company. Able to have a really incredible job being a 'stay-at-home mom'. And this weekend, we hosted an event that encompassed one of the proudest moments of my nine years working here. We had a RELAY FOR LIFE in which 100% of the community participated.
The reason: a girl name Chloe with terminal cancer. She was asked what she wanted most in the world. And her list was short. 1. She wanted to see her favorite band perform. 2. She wanted to go to Disney World. 3. She wanted a RELAY FOR LIFE even hosted in her honor to raise awareness for cancer.
This Relay was done a little different than most...it was truly to raise awareness and not for fund raising. There is a fund raising goal that $100,000 will be raised in Chloe's name. This was the kick-off for a year of different activities.
Still a little exhausted by feeling truly blessed to work for such an incredible place and to be able to teach my children and boys the value of Paying It Forward...
